No winter wheat deliveries until after vom is tested
At this time we have cut off all winter wheat deliveries until the vom has been tested. The reason for this is two-fold. We have seen a lot of very high vom results. We don't want to tie up our bins with grain we can't move during harvest and we also don't want you to deliver a crop that may end up being virtually worthless at this point in time. Please take and keep good samples of each load you put in your bin so you have an accurate representation of the overall grain quality. We will be working to find the best market possible for the high vom, unfortunately it is most likely not going to be found during harvest. Thank you for your patience as we work through this issue. Please call if you have any questions.
The new scales and dumps are open!
We have begun using our new terminal and automated card readers. With this change, we have turned the truck traffic around as well. Instead of entering over by the "old main house", you now come in from the end closer to Highway 37, down by where the old Peavey elevator was.
The first time you deliver into the new system, we will set you up with a card to use in the automated scale system. Although it may seem a little intimidating or confusing at first, it generally goes pretty smoothly. Our staff is there to walk you through it and to answer any questions you may have.
Thank you for your patience as we all learn how to use our new system. We look forward to providing you shorter wait times and a more efficient operation as we roll into harvest.
As always, please contact us if you have any questions and thank you for your patronage.
